Founded in 1858, The YWCA-NYC has long been a vital fixture in our city. With our rich legacy of creating educational opportunities to improve the economic capacity of historically marginalized communities we are poised to embrace a deeper commitment to this mission. We know that educating women leads to economic stability within families uplifting entire populations from poverty and related illness.

We are so excited to gather in person and for this year’s SALUTE to celebrate the YWCA of the City of New York’s 165th anniversary of service to New YorkThe event honors leaders in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion including Changemaker Champion, Janessa Cox-Irvin, Global Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Corporate Citizenship at AllianceBernstein as well as the YWCA of the City of New York’s long-time advocate and retiring board chair, Tracy Richelle High, Partner at Sullivan & Cromwell. We will also celebrate The Grace Hoadley Dodge Community Leadership Award honoring Sarah Gund.
